These extensions thread directly onto your existing rucRak studded lug nuts, closing the gap between your spare tire and the mounting plate for proper, safe installation.

Built from hardened, zinc-coated steel, they ensure secure, vibration-free mounting across daily driving, off-road trails, overlanding, and highway travel. Do I need these Mounting Stud Extensions for my setup?

You only need these if your wheel depth is more than 5-5/8 inches. This measurement ensures your rucRak can sit flush and mount correctly.

How do I measure wheel depth?

Use a tape measure placed on a straight line from the lug nut face to the outer edge of the tire. If it's over 5-5/8", you need these extensions.

Can I use these Mounting Stud Extensions with non-rucRak systems?

No. These are engineered exclusively for rucRak spare-mounted cargo carriers, like the GRUNT, and will not function properly with other brands.

Will these Mounting Stud Extensios work with my GRUNT?

What if I have an aftermarket tire carrier?

If your spare tire sits farther away due to an aftermarket carrier, check:
Wheel depth (must be ≤ 5-5/8" without extensions)

Hitch-to-wheel center measurement (ideally 22-1/12" or less)
If not, these extensions ensure proper spacing.
